Marmite

Roll up, roll up - I know you think you either Love it or Hate it but hold ya damned horses. This little fella is actually a bit of a looker. Riffing on the idea of that sweet/savoury fun - here we have a dark choc fudge with a slug of Marmite rolled in. The bitter cocoa and sweet fudge gives a quick start before a little wave of umami washes over us from that Marmite. Think dark salted caramel - the savoury aspects of that sticky yeast extract really draws out luscious cocoa notes. Deep, dark, almost fruity and rich. Yes mate! Give it a go and see for yourself...
